Hi beautiful soul,
I’m Emily Garringer—founder of Hippie Hut Yoga, and I’m so glad you’re here. Whether you’re a longtime friend of the mat or just stumbled into this little corner of healing and self-discovery… welcome. Let’s get acquainted.

I believe yoga is more than a workout—it's a remembering. A journey back into the body, the breath, the mind, and the spirit. It helps us gently unpack old patterns, challenge limiting beliefs, and uncover the happiest, healthiest version of ourselves—who’s already in there, waiting to emerge.

My own journey with yoga began in a hot studio in Boise back in 2001. As a lifelong dancer and musician, I instantly fell in love with the way breath and movement became one beautiful, flowing meditation. Since then, I’ve completed over 200 hours of training in Vinyasa and Yin yoga—and I bring that passion into every class I teach.

By day, I work as a Surgical First Assistant. By night, I’m on the mat as an ERYT-200 yoga teacher. You’ll find my love of anatomy woven into every sequence, every cue, and every mindful transition we take together.

At Hippie Hut Yoga, my mission is to hold space for you to explore your practice in a way that feels real, raw, and right for you. Expect classes that are intentional, playful, breath-centered, and always guided by heart.

I truly believe that when we approach the body with mindfulness and the heart with openness, we unlock a whole new way of being. One with more awareness, more joy, and way more love—both for ourselves and the world around us.

When I’m not on the mat or in the OR, you’ll usually find me cooking something nourishing, spending time with my loved ones, getting lost in a good book, traveling, or creating something beautiful.

So wherever you are in your journey—know that you belong here. Let’s move, breathe, heal, and grow… together.

Welcome to the Hippie Hut. 🌈🧘‍♀️💫
